TF 2.5" spring lift, what size bumpstops?

Hey guys, so I'm getting ready to put 35" KM2s on my '14 when it arrives, and I'm still wrestling with what is the best lift for me.

I want something with road manners as good or better than factory, and that can fit 35" Km2s without ANY possibility of rub or having to trim.

I've watched the TF lift video, and I think the best lift for me would be the 1352000 spring lift with shock extenders to use factory shocks.

So I called a local Jeep shop to me that sells TF, AEV and a few others, and they told me point blank that the TF lift under flex would rip my rear fender flare off, and he recommended the AEV 3.5" lift.

Ok, so now I'm think he's trying to up sell me or something, so I call TF directly and spoke with a tech.

He assured me that it shouldn't rub, but that I could add extended bump stops for piece of mind if I wanted.

Can anyone running the above TF lift and 35" tires (Km2s would be even better) please chime in on their experiences with rub or damage from being to low?

What size extended bump stops does the TF 2.5" lift come with, and what should I get to insure no rub?

I'm trying to get the lowest lift with the best clearance for 35s. I don't really want to go much bigger than 2.5" because I don't want ANY driveline issues. This rig will be 80% DD and 20% WW.

My initial thoughts are 2.5" TF lift, AEV geometry bracket and if this looks like it will rub, maybe 1" BL?

Thanks

Ok well one of your distributors in Ontario Canada told me I'd rip off my rear fender flare under full flex with 35's and TF 2.5" lift..

The last thing I want to do is install the lift and have to rip it apart again to modify so I won't have any issues.

His words : "Yeah we get this all the time.. Jeep dealers send customers here for 2.5 inch TF lift on their new Jeep to run 35's because it says so on the Internet and they usually return to the dealer with their rear flares in their hands after they've been ripped off from rub".

Is it optimistic to think the 2.5" lift will clear 35's flexing every possible way? I mean, if I need to add a bit larger bump stop or some other solution to limit flex a bit I will.. and I like the TF lift, so I will be buying.. I don't want to have to do it twice.

And to say "2.5 lift will clear 35's". That may be true.. on pavement..? or at flex?

I run 37's on a 3" lift and a few guys here run the 35's on a 2.5" lift and stock flares, at flex.

I ran 315/75/16 (35s) on a TF 2.5 coil lift and it was fine. This is where bumpstops help. TF supplies bumpstops with most of their kits.

With 2.5 it's closer than a 3.0+ kit but you can certainly run 35s with both. The later provides a bit more room. Also worth considering how much extra weight your going to add or have added to know which kit will fit the bill.

For the record, TF makes 3"+ kits too.
