...when you're nestled down to sleep in the campground, highest elevation east of the Mississippi, and you hear thunder and something that sounds like a freight train barrelling through.
That weird feeling you get when you pass a patrol car sitting on the side of the road and you're afraid to break eye contact to look at the speedometer...
That weird feeling I get every time I park my Jeep and walk away from it, I HAVE to look back at it and smile. Then if other people are watching me they get that "weird feeling"
Hard to explain....
I see more pics of Jeeps on the trail with minimal mods. Which tells me the Jeep is more than capable with out them. Of course they would be limited but can do much more than people may think. I'm actually impressed with what many throw at the stock rigs.
I'd feel funny too if I showed up at a trail because my Jeep would be washed and cleaned and looking new. I'd definitely be the rookie. Oh well. I work hard and like to take care of my toys. And that goes for servicing and working on my Jeep.
That feeing you get when the trail leader says over the CB "I haven't run this entire trail but in pretty sure I know where we are suppose to go". (PS that really happened this weekend!)
That weird feeling you get when you buy some upgraded parts you've been admiring for a long time...and they announce/release a newer, better "upgraded" version .

Or......
That feeling you get when you're driving in a 20+ Wrangler convoy.
Or.......
That feeling you get when you're questioning your own sanity as you're about to tackle an obstacle you think is just about impossible and your Jeep carries you over it like it was nothing. #wranglersuperhero
That weird feeling you get when wheeling solo for hours, on a trail that you have never been on, 12 hours from home, and it runs under water for as far as you can see.
That weird feeling you get when you think to yourself, i know there was something i wanted to look up for my jeep, but i just cant remember what it was.
or
That weird feeling you get when you are driving around with 6" of fresh snow on the roads like its nothing, and you think, did i put it in 4 wheel?
I get that feeling when I'm not paying attention to the other side of the road and glance over just as I'm about to pass another Jeep.....and they're actually waving. Oops.
Had a true laugh out loud on that one as it happened to me and broke one of sunrider latches - luckily that was an easy fix.
Was quite the loud surprise tooling down the road when it opened.
