Yeah all works fine...well except addresses syncing with Nav but that's not an iOS 7 issue.

I haven't tried mine since I was out of town all weekend. Based on what changed between 7.0 and 7.0.2, I would expect no problems.

I have updated the software on the 730 as well as my iPhone and everything is still working fine! including my Lockpick. One thing you might want to do is upgrade the firmware on the lockpick. I had an audio cutout issue with mine, upgraded the firmware and it's been gone ever since. The updater program and the firmware is on their site.

Are you talking about the 28z lockpick update because that's the latest I have. Thanks jwilson for info.

This thread was far too long to read all the way through. But I have the 730 rhr stereo and the droid razor with the 4.1.2 update and I can not even find the uconnect system in my Bluetooth on my phone. Anyone else seen the same?

The latest I see on their site is 23z, which is what I have on mine. Where did you get 28z?

Just went back and looked...we're talking about 2 different models I think. There appears to be a 29z for the CHRY550, for my V5 it only goes to 23z.

You have to first pair it from the 730 unit while keeping the phone in discoverable mode, instead of trying to pair it from your phone. I think.
I have a Galaxy nexus and works fine.

So does importing addresses from phone to Nav really not work for anyone? Or is it only an iPhone issue?

Seems like such a basic feature I can't believe it doesn't work. Really annoying!

My phone is never listed in the devices. I've tried my RAZR and an iPhone 5 it doesn't pick up either in discovery mode.

I have 2013 Jeep JKR. The wife updated her iPhone 4 with iOS 7. She was able to pair her phone OK. Then, one day the pairing dropped off and we had to pair it again. Worked OK until today when she was unable to make hands-free call with Uconnect. She called home and all I heard was loud buzzing, no voice. She was able to hear me on my landline. She was able to make her call away from the Jeep using just the iPhone. Jeep is going into dealer tomorrow for oil change. Dealer told me there is a new head unit software upgrade coming soon.

My RAZR Maxx pairs fine BUT I do have to reboot the phone after talking on Bluetooth for an hour straight. Major pain in the @$$.

Only issue with the 730N RHR I seem to be having is in regards the the NAV address book. My iPhone 5s running 7.0.2 is paired and works fine. When I access the address book on the iPhone via the head unit it does see my contacts and their phone numbers but it does not pull up any address information. Hmmm.
Oh and the other issue with the NAV is when I go to select a new destination I always have to change the default location from the US to Canada.

I just picked up my JK 1,500 miles on it and yes you are correct it does display the "night" and "day" light settings on the display backwards. I do not have the answer just the problem. Just wanted to chime to say there are others out here with the same ability to see some issues as you do.

Sorta answering my own question here. I updated the firmware which has fixed the NAV default country setting. From what I have found is the iPhone will not sync street address info (only contact name and number) over bluetooth, but if I hardwire it to the usb port and turn off bluetooth the stupid headset will not allow me to sync contacts.

So I have tried a few other ways to sync but no luck. I exported my contacts as a vcf file onto a USB thumb drive. The head unit will not recognize the files. I then tried using my macbook via USB to sync the contacts but the head unit, although paired with the macbook, does not see the contacts nor will it allow me to upload a file from the macbook to the head unit.

There must be a way to get contact information, including street addresses, onto the 730 RHR.

In the planning stages of ordering an Rubicon X... Do all radio packages give you the option to stream music via Bluetooth from iPhone 5? I don't need Nav and don't wanna spend the extra cash on the 750 if it's not necessary.

Breadcrumbs. Does anyone have or know where I can find a tutorial on how to display bread crumbs on my Uconnect 730N 2014. Thanks.

What's the code for the non-nav 430 in the 2014 Sport?

This may be a silly question, but is there a way to get more than 3 source options on the radio page? I hate having to hit the radio button to get to "devices" for my ipod or phone when there appears to be plenty of room on the main page.

No it's the way the separate it. Page one is sources that involve you receiving a broadcast (AM, FM, SAT, and TV if equipped) and page 2 are media sources (HDD, Disc, AUX(iPod, etc) and VES (if equipped). When you have the TV and VES tabs like mine does because of the Lockpick, it would be too crowded to have them all on one page.

I have not updated my GPS info on my 2012 JKU because I refuse to pay more for a software update than a new GPS unit cost at Walmart.

I was traveling in Galveston, TX this week and needed to drop off some mail at a post office.

I ask the 730N to direct me to a USPS office.

The first location I was sent to used to be a P.O. years ago but is now another government office.

The second location I was sent to was a small taco shop.

When I buy my next Jeep I will order the base head unit and install an after market unit.

Have we figured out what the latest firmware is? I have a brand new Rubi X with the 730N...

Also where does it say that this unit will let you text. If I can find that I will start wearing Jeep out.

I just checked mine

Application: 2.136

don't know if its already been answered but the question about when you set it to 15 miles it shows 100 miles each direction and set it to 25 miles it shows 500 miles in each direction.

The answer I believe is that when you set it to a certain increment it is setting the scale. On the left of the screen(i think thats where it is) it gives you the little distance scale that looks kinda like |------| and what it is setting is that little distance to 10 miles or 25 miles or half a mile or whatever you set it to. so that distance on the screen equals the set distance. So if you want up close street views you need to set it to like a half mile or quarter mile.

Used to have the 730N in my 2012 jeep. I also had problems with entering addresses and don't think I ever figured out how to make it work and always had numbers missing that I needed to enter addresses. but as I type this I think I remember there being something to do with making sure it knows the right region you are in or something like that. I know that doesn't help. sorry.

As for showing MPH I remember back in 2012 when I had mine there being many discussions on the 430N showing MPH and the 730N not having that capability. Or at least I never saw any info that actually lead to me finding it although some people said it did and gave directions that didn't lead anywhere cause it would be telling you to go to some screen that didn't exist or hit some button that didn't exist. I figured they probably had the 430N and thought it was the 730N or they were just making stuff up.
