A better shot of actual production dashboard

The white steering wheel insert looks better from this angle. I'm still not convinced though... When I was a kid, I had a pair of shoes I really liked except the white fabric inserts. So I grabbed a black permanent marker to fix the problem.

Hmm, it does look a little like a Wii steering wheel. A thin orange border would have been nice. Do you think you could remove the black hood decal? Maybe a second footprint would help for that "hang ten" look.
I am thinking bfg and gecko should only be available on a swamp model with a green monster, and slime dripping from the hood.

I think I like my Fake 'Yeti Edition' better. It would have looked better with the dark grey rims instead of the black ones. Black doesn't really scream Arctic to me. The pewter color ones like the Mojave's look more winterish IMO.
Don't get me wrong...... I still want one.

I can't decide if I like the Winter Chill. When I first heard it was coming out, I thought that's what I wanted until I saw the color in a picture. Seems too much of a sky blue, almost girlish. I'll have to see one in color for the final verdict. Jeep needs to realize that (for us old farts anyway) that the packages are more desirable if they are subtle (like the yeti footprints) instead of in your face (like the white steering wheel inserts and black hood sticker). I agree, the black rims almost get lost with the tires on this color. Brushed aluminum or steel grey, something to this affect would look better.

I do really like this color, especially with a black top. So if it's released for Saharas consider it ordered.

Just depends on the time frame cause I dont want to wait much longer but dont want to "settle" for another color either.

Double agreed....
I love the color...
I'm not interested in the stickers and decals....
On another forum I had posted that I didn't like the wheels on the models shown, but liked the wheels on the version from the German auto show. The difference was the tires. The white outline of the tires allowed one to separate the tire from the wheel.

And yeah....I'm tired of waiting to see if the color will be available for a regular Sahara.

Stop by if you're close. It takes them a few days to list new additions, I've found.

^Nice....
I looked at that dealers site yesterday...but pics were not up yet.

I'll be heading there on Friday to take a look in person (assuming it is still there).

I just priced it out...and Edmunds is a $100 low on their pricing. Looks like the Arctic package went up $100 based on the window sticker.

yeah, it resembles that pic of the GC in winter chill. I suspect the blue comes out in sunlight. If you look at all the photos from that auto show, some look this color, some look blue. If you let it get dirty it will probably appear more gray.

I rather have it towards metallic gray than plain light blue. It appears to have a metallic shine, which is a definite plus. This year's other colors look fairly plain, like paint jobs on restored cars. Just look at cosmos blue versus 2010's surf blue. Or crush/dozer versus mango tango. I was truly hoping that winter chill will not look like the CGI photos on dealer sites (see attached). So far so good.

The black wheels with shiny tires look good. I will have to start buying tire shine in bulk. The black rims probably won't look this nice when dirty. The all black wheels fairly compensate for the painted fenders & roof (things normally I don't like, but had no choice with the Arctic).

I wonder how the wheels would look like if the rims were also painted winter chill (like the screenshot of the white one from youtube). Same with the white plastic inserts. They should have been painted winter chill. Sounds like a nice project.

Noticed that the orange stripes are missing between the seat fabric & leather (?), when comparing things with the Frankfurt auto show photos. Not a deal breaker, but still.

As someone else pointed out, white letters on the tires would not hurt either.

I asked the dealer few days ago if I could add the dual top package to my order, he says it's too late because my Jeep is already being built. I thought that it would still come with hard top & the soft top would be shipped loose, so what's the big deal about charging me more money & give me a box with the soft top in it. Whatever.

I might paint my wheels navy blue and do after market blue/silver interior. Those white wheels look sharp.

Looking at the deep cherry red pics from that same dealer shows the tint is way off on these photos. Somebody please take a good picture and post it up. They are shipping these to every major city top dealer it looks like.
