That sucks! I hope you don't have to hassle with the dealership for the repair.

I hear so many horror stories, yet all the times I've had warranty issues with the different cars I've owned, I've never had a problem getting it handled.

Infiniti just replaced my headlights on a 6 year old car, never even blinked an eye about it. They actually asked me if there were any other issues since I had to drive 2 hours to the dealership.

The dealership I bought the Jeep at took care of our 2006 Charger for a couple issues and their only question was if they installed the CAI or we did. I'm sending good karma your way, I think it will be handled quickly and trouble free

Well lets hope there is never a need for a smaller shaft again

I do remember Dennis saying he ordered the Y-pipe but because of the drive shaft change it wasn't needed. He had only done a lift on one other 2012 when he did mine.

Honestly? I did everything myself on my 2dr and it was a PITA. I got the satisfaction of building it myself, now I want to enjoy the product without the bloody knuckles, empty beer drawer, and kranky attitude
Regarding my mis statement on the lift....I'm going with a new front drive shaft. I've been on the phone so much getting the details worked out, my brain is mush.
I'm going to pick her up on Saturday at the Northridge4x4 open house; David is going to display it.

but the bloody knucks are all part of the fun. And the empty beer drawer is your own fault. As they say in the Corps, prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. Cant wait to see pictures.

Quite a few guys in my VA Mens group are beat up too ...more than me for sure. Poor guys are getting' treated for stuff all the time...they just keep on keeping' on.

Its my pleasure Barf. I love what I do, but it doesnt love me back so its time to move on. I am not looking forward to the VA when I was being offered medical retirement I was told Id be somewhere in the 80% range. That was 5 or 6 years ago.

And I am glad I can stay. You guys are my entertainment on the slow days. And since I have a lot of slow days right now I read the post a lot. "half man, half dog.... Im my own best friend"

I'm happy that you are happy and can stay in the Corps. The VA, when you get there, will treat you well, or at least they have me and my VA buddies. I hope your body heals well enough to not cause you too much discomfort now and later. I'm finding, BTW, that former military are among my best friends, what ever that's worth. One of my best buds is a former Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines. He spent 44 months in Nam and has a Navy Cross and five Purple Hearts. Sadly, now he a warrior without a war and it eats at him. Don't become that.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming

Thanks, strangely I really dig the triple orange exterior. All of the armor is black, with the exception of the spyder logos and the lock rings so it should break it up just enough.
I can't wait for the after pics myself

It's not always the size that matters!!

A smaller shaft used correctly will do the trick . . . !!

However, a larger shaft used correctly is still better!
