The mountain bike being orange was one factor in picking Crush for the Jeep, also I think it goes great with the red rock here and you don't see the dirt as much as the dark colors and it should be a little cooler in the heat too

If any of you are coming here anytime, PM me and we can explore and go for a beer afterwards. I am a 5 minute walk from the Moab Brewery
You need 4wd to get to the trailhead to see this

Pete
Use orange Kool Aid - great temporary hair dye!!!!!

My dad is from Provo Utah, I've only been there once when I was 13. I have been to Lake Powell many times, we're actually going next summer with a big group. I love the shear, red rock walls you see while on the lake. It's the most spectacular thing to be in the boat looking straight up at them. Someday I would love to see more of the State and go back to Provo with my Dad to see where he was raised.

Speaking of old men (LL brought up the subject), I have found that my Jeep is an old man magnet!!!

I was approached by old men twice today about my Jeep. The first one told me how much he liked my Jeep. I was in a hurry at that moment, so I couldn't stop and chat. The second was as I got gas. That man had to peep inside!! When he found out I knew a little about Jeeps, he started telling me about an old Willis Wagon he had. I told him I grew up with an old Jeep. That really got him going! He talked and talked! I finally had to tell him I needed to go so the person behind me could get to the pump! While we talked, two old men at another pump came around to look at my Jeep!!

One younger guy getting in a big delivery truck gave me a thumbs up and mouthed, "I like it", as I drove past him.

I drove through Utah when I moved back to Virginia. I went up 15 and hit 70. It is a beautiful state - very different than Virginia!

My Dad just sent me a picture of his Jeep, he got the body set back onto the frame today. He isn't happy with the color, I think he will leave it though and just get used to it. I can't believe how much progress he's made in the last couple weeks, I guess I need to go over and take a look at it this weekend.

Some old man in a Ford Fusion slammed his door open next to me at the store, he smacked right into the Ace Rails I was getting Caleb out of his car seat on the other side, when I looked around and saw what happened I laughed.

The guy gave me a dirty look and mumbled something, all I caught was. "damn kids". I continued to smile as I am way past being a kid, at least if you go by actual age, haha. I noticed he dinged his door really good, I felt that was enough satisfaction so I didn't say anything to him.

He is so very lucky I wasn't in my car, he would have gotten an earful from this, "kid".

I had some guy in a motorhome towing a really nice older Rubicon flash his lights at me on the freeway. I think he liked my Jeep
Love the Ace rails!

Did you flash him back?

It's strange how men seem to like Crush jeeps driven by women.

I first visited Moab in the 90's and was drawn to it. When I retired, I didn't want to stay in central Pennsylvania, so I moved here the beginning of this year. I wouldn't have bought a Jeep if I still lived in PA, but to get to all of the great places to hike and bike, a Jeep is a great vehicle to have.

I really love it here and the red rocks and amazing landscapes.

Lab Lover, your dad's Jeep looks great, but you couldn't persuade him to have it painted Crush

No flashing on my part today, the last time I flashed someone it was a tour boat full of Asian people on the River in Laughlin Nevada Lets just say there was quite a few Margaritas drank that day.......by the tourists after I scarred them for life

Be sure to get a pre-nup that the Crush Jeep is all yours.

I mentioned it to him and got a, "hell no" answer. He says if he want's to stand out in a crowd he will ride with me. Otherwise he will stick to his old man green Jeep, lol.

That's a cool looking Crush, do you find many others in your area? Mine is a rarity around here and I like it that way

My husband is 48 going on 16 We've been married since we were 18, I know no one else would put up with me or with him. We're sort of stuck with each other after 30 years, plus I remind him he can't afford to get rid of me

I gave him a soft top from my old TJ, it was never used. He has an upholstery shop so he's able to cut it down and re-work it to fit. He said he's going to make doors for it also, from the same fabric as the top. He's amazingly handy, I know it's going to look really nice when its done.

It's very nice, and doesn't look to worn. Is it a replacement for one you damaged? You know they can only take so much abuse before something goes wrong

You might not want to quote him as a pick up line, never know what might happen
