I was thinking the same thing!! Try 90 for no doors, although I am really looking forward to taking the Freedom Panels off when it gets to maybe 80 :-)

We hit 82 last Friday, I leave my office at 2. Went straight to the parking structure and took off my freedom panels, put my hat on and took the back roads home It was still 78 as I drove through Pismo Beach, of course as soon as the sun went down it dropped to 54

Luckily I got home right before it got cold and put them back on All it did was make me wish for summer.

Yeah, I learned last year that it needs to be around 80 to be comfortable with the Freedom Panels out!! Well, if you are driving more than five miles per hour!!

I was thinking about that when i saw you were in WV.. No worst place for a Hokie fan then in Morgantown!

You know this is epic

Very Epic!!
Haha I was born a West Virginian but I became a Hokie, there are a lot of Hokies up here, there is much less animosity now then there used to be but I wish they would start playing football again they were the most fun games to go to

I happen to live fairly close to UVA, so my Jeep is perfect!! I actually attended a game at UVA this last year and was given a nice parking pass to use. The folks there just loved my Jeep! Other drivers waved me in and the people in the parking lot went crazy over it. It was a lot of fun. The boys were with me and we had the windows down - people were yelling across the lot about my orange Jeep! The boys thought it was cool!
Charlottesville is a very nice area without question, but give Blacksburg a try it is a great town with a lot to do, extremely family friendly, the local jeep club is great and there is so much to do outside in the area, and need I mention football if you think you got a good reception at UVA just give Tech a try, it such a fun time of the year (I can't wait for football to start)

I have been to Blacksburg many times!! You won't convert me into a Hokie fan. The reason I am such an adamant fan of UVA is because I had family who tried to insist I like VT when I was a kid. The more they pushed VT, the bigger fan I became of UVA!!!!

Haha fair enough, to each his own . I had a similar thing with my family half for WVU half for VT so I have gone to both!

Got the Jeep a little dirty this weekend.. Scratched the heck out of one of my freedom tops. Spent 4 hours removing the hard top and putting the soft top on.. only to have to take the soft top back off and put the hard top back on because i was missing all the pieces for the soft top. They gave me a 2dr hardware kit.. got the kit today from the dealer, now they had to order me the rear window bottom part since i did not get one with the jeep or in the box. Guess i am waiting a little longer to put the soft top on!

How did you scratch the Freedom Panel?

Sorry you had so many issues, but it is good you are getting it all straight now!

umm... i plead the fifth!

I, like an idiot, put them in the backseat of my Jeep and left the clamp for one open and facing the black part of the freedom top. I then went over a bump on the trail and caused the clamp to scrape the black off of the top.. Nothing a little Rhino Liner can't fix!

But i have been to the dealer twice today and finally got all the parts needed for the soft top.. but now it is about to rain so being put off for a better day..

Ouch. Mine came with a bag for them. It separates them and straps to the backseat. I really like it.

Sadly... I have the bag too. Took it out because I was working with concrete and originally had no plans to take the tops off. But the weather just became so nice. Decided too anyway. Lesson learned.

Thanks! I was on the fence to Rhino Line the entire top, and now after seeing how easy the factory black scratches- my mind is completely made up.. Luckily i will have all summer to do it as the hard top will be sitting in my garage starting in a few days.

That will be cool post up pics when you do it, I am thinking about lining the interior but that job might have to wait for a while
