The install is not to difficult it just takes time.
I bought the Kenwood DNX750HD from Quadratec with their install kit.
That makes it mostly plug and play. Three wires that you need to hook up to the stereo and then two wires to the tail light. One video cable from stereo to back up camera and that's pretty much it.
I am in IL, Chicago area if I can be of any help.

For sure! I upgraded to a cot from the ground just this year. Luxury! That's what I love about the Southwest, no rain except July and August and no mosquitos except in the mountains. So no tent needed!!

Do you have the seventeen year cicadas chirping there?

I will gladly send you some of the rain we have had lately. It rained today. The forecast said it was to be 77 and sunny, but it was more like 67 and cloudy with interludes of rain. Pretty yucky weather day overall.

Edited to add:
I just googled the cicadas - they are an east coast insect. Lovely. I'll send some of them your way with the rain! Heck, I'll even throw in some stink bugs just to be extra nice!!!!!

Uuhhh... Thanks... The rain I'll take! We be VERY dry! We have cicadas that start singing when the temp breaks into the 90's. Usually late June. We actually have pretty great weather here, since we are a mile high, rarely break 100. Nothing like Phoenix. No Mosquitos!! I grew up in WI, so know them well. I do miss the lightnin' bugs though!

I have used foam pads and cots mostly, air mattress a few times. I prefer the cot to anything because it is up off the ground so no crawlies can pay me a visit and because its durable. As far as mosquitos, i deal with them, in marble falls didnt have to, yay ceder trees. As far as rain protection, i normally bring a tarp and pull it over me if it rains. I forgot it this last trip and did get rained on a bit, but delt with it.

Never fails, You write a post on here and everyone has questions for ya. Sorry it took me so long to get back here it got hecktic with Hoildays.

Suebabe- that's not my pop-up, it's also way too big for the jeeps payload limits (it's the biggest pop-up I've seen). If your thinking about a pop-up you should be fine.

J33P4x4- yes there are Bushwackers.

Just got the Crush Can today. I was surprised. I have to say, and I'm kind of embarrassed, but I actually forgot. I haven't been on the forum in a while. Anyway already thinking of some good PA locations for some pics.

At least it was a good surprise and not a bill or something, lol.

It's been so hectic around here i can't remember a darn thing lately. If you saw my calendar you would laugh, the only thing not scheduled is potty breaks and that's not a bad idea

One fun thing, we bought another Jeep. An 03 TJ, built for rock crawling. It's really nice and has a ton of modifications done to it.

The Crush will still get wheeled, just not as hard as the TJ. Mike just thought it best to have something we can go into more extreme places with and if there's body damage it isn't the end of the world. I would cry if my Crush got badly hurt

Found this cooler in a memorabilia shop in Vegas. Even though it was clearly stated that photos were not allowed I couldn't let my fellow Crushians miss it.

Or, orange paint, a Crush bottle cap sticker and a $100 reefer and you can have a $3600 fridge.
