www.northsidewv.com it is in summersville WV... there are no pics on the site... it has a generic pic of Sahara Tan. I am probably going to go there and look this week if they give me a decent quote on my trade. I may just use the TL discount and bring it home. If so, I'll post pics. There are a few pics on cars.com that I have found....

I just checked the update from Milous posted on the first page of the Jeep info thread. He updated it just a few days ago and says Crush will start on 9/23. Let's hope that does not get extended yet again.

(Thanks to Up Hill Bill for alerting me of this update)

Add 1 to the list, although we are going to wait until we can see one in person. I had two solar yellow Wranglers in the past and I was really hoping for yellow, so I've got to see crush before I'll buy it.

Perhaps the crush delay and lack of yellow are both due to pigment shortages resulting from the Japanese tsunami.

If you like yellow (so do I but I already have a yellow 'car') then you should look at Dozer. Crush will, I think, be more orange than yellow. Dozer is pretty interesting in that it seems to change colors in different light. Still looks like a School Bus though

Funny comment about the School bus above ...... Took the family to look at the Dozer color the other day and the first words out of my kids mouths were "it looks like a school bus!" So now we are waiting to see what crush looks like. Hope I like the orange.

I can't believe I have 450+ posts already on this forum and still don't have my Jeep ! We are all hoping for 9/23...if the Jeep Gods don't disappoint us yet again.

You know, when I called my dealer a week or so ago he said they had definitely started building Crush. I didn't really believe him since I was obsessively checking here to see if any Crush orders had gone D1. I figured he was appeasing me, now I KNOW he was. That makes me mad. I understand production delays and wouldn't be mad at the dealership about it. I really just do not like having somebody lie to me. Just tell me the truth - I am a big girl and can handle it!!

Okay, I am ducking out for the night - will be up early to exercise before work. It just hit me that he had lied and I needed to vent for a moment.

We actually went to the dealer planning on buying dozer if we liked it, but it was just too "school bus" for us. Hoping that crush is more of a true orange.

I think it is less production and more supply. Many specialty paints contain components that are in short supply due to the Japanese tsunami. Pearl coats and bright colors are in very short supply.

Presently I have no F'ing clue. I'll wait as long as I can and do something else if it's not forthcoming in a reasonable time. I'm done guessing and supposing. At some point I'll just give up and go to something else. If 9/23 gets put off likely I'll go for another color since I already have a lot of $$ in mods in my garage waiting for ???? Sad really...that they cannot or will not give us some straight and honest info...especially for all the damn money we're spending. I woulda had my jeep in early August if they would have agreed to make the changes necessary to comply with their software screw up.

End of Rant...

Lady Jane,

Why would you chose the military for your sons? I would not chose it for my son.
You need to understand my background:
Brother Daniel killed in combat.
First was 11B - Infantry Private
Went to Officer Candidate School and other schools
Became 5-1331-P
1331 – Combat Engineer Unit Commander
P – Paratrooper
5 – Specialist in Atomic Demolition Munitions (sometimes called suitcase nuclear bombs)
Also an earned MOS in Depot Management
Later a volunteer in the Reserves
Civil Service for the Army (much spent on Black projects)
Consultant for the Army

Done things like help design and troubleshoot the infrastructure powering sites like GoArmy.com

Human nature being what it is, think we need a strong military.

Do not view it as honor and glory, but a necessary, dirty business that sometimes has to be done.

Was curious on your thoughts.

Might get an Orange Jeep.

If it is paint, then tell us that. Right now my complaint is not so much the reasoning behind the delay, but the fact that I was not told the truth.

It's off topic anyway, not that I have not drifted away as well on occasion.

I figured it out. Sunkist sued Jeep over the name. That's the delay. Either that or the highway department got first dibs on em.

I think you are onto something here!!

I have noticed that most of the highway department vehicles around me are suspiciously close to either Crush or Dozer . . . !!

Was at my dealer today and would speculate from what I saw that the trucks got the first cans of Crush. They had a 2500 Dodge there with it on it. Nice color, worth waiting for. They also took delivery on 3 Dozer colored Rubicons. Also a nice color, much better in person than on the chip chart.
