Picked up mine yesterday afternoon but too late to take pics. Here's one with my best four legged buddy, Dusty. He will own the right seat. I did take the rear seat head rests off to get some visibility out the back...they really block your vision. I have not yet attempted the mods on the front headrests but they are a problem and dunno if they'll interchange with the front yet. New wheels are Mikey Thompson Classic II. Still trying to figger out stuff...but that's fun too...

What a long strange trip it's been...to quote the Grateful Dead...

Awesome. Congrats. Did you flip the mirror? Really helped with visibility for two reasons: 1) makes it higher 2) puts the wide part of the mirror up top so you can see over the headrests better.

Yes, ND, I flipped it almost right away...what an improvement ! I still need spot mirrors on the side. Not quite sure I'm ready to tackle the antenna change though

Dave,
Thanks. I like the Mickey Thompson wheels. I'm an SF Giants fan so the black and orange really fits. Bumper is Hanson and the winch is one I've had for a long time...Warn 9000i. It was on a portable cradle when hooks into a hitch receiver but I seldom used it on my truck so just hard mounted it here. A jeep simply MUST have a winch ...

The wheels are really great !!!

Went to the University of Virginia under full scholarship.

UVa's colors are orange and navy blue.

Also think it looks beautiful on the Wrangler.

Also meets my business objective of fun, distinctive vehicles.

Hey Bill,
Great to hear from you. Yes, it was a wait but I'm happy I did. Dusty owns every vehicle and lets me drive

Rugby, does the last update mean it left Cumberland, MD? Or, does that mean it is just sitting there?

I have just tried to look at all the stops on a map. It sure is taking the long way to get to me!! I am sure it is on that train just trying to break free. I am sure it is thinking if it could just hop off the train, it could get to me so much faster by traveling in a straigher line!! Plus, it knows it is a Jeep and can make it through any terrain beween the train and my house!!!!!!!

I have to say that trying to figure out the stops would have been a lot easier if I could have found a better map of just the train routes!!!!!!!!! I found a few, but they were from the 1800's!!!!!!!

Once it reaches D1 status there is little influence the dealer has over the order.

I'm aware. Even at D, the dealers have to jump through hoops to make changes. They have to call their factory rep and hope they are willing to make the change. He didn't mention which it was or I missed it. But you can always not purchase the Jeep.

Thank you for turning me on to DCU!
On my list of things to do, is to find several credit unions that allow business customers. There is a federal law that limits how many business members a credit union can have.
First thing I noticed is that DCU allows business members. Verified this on a phone call.
Also found out that their 1.99 % is good for 5 years or 60 months. Everyone else seems to have only 36 months.
Press has reported that many financial institutions have teaser rates that almost no one can get. So asked how hard is it to get 1.99 for 5 years. Was told that the rate was easy to get and only a 675 credit rating is required. Was pleasantly surprised that she voluntaried the information.
Financial Press has been saying that the floor for anything was 620 but this has been raised to 660 to be considered for anything. Best rates seem to come around 760. So best rate at 675 seems very good.

Think will do some business with these people.
Have heard that the Navy Credit Union is 1.99 or 1.79 for 60 months but am not a member.
