Looks pretty tough. At least you have a good sense of humor about it! And, luckily you didn't try to buy her a rock lobster!

You dune people need to black out your grills. You will see how much more aggressive the rig looks. I'll be ordering a dune or an amped in 2 weeks.

blacked out grilles are played out....everyone does that now. I actually painted my PSC louver light sand to match the lettering and decals I used, with black bolts holding the louver in place, then painted the grille inserts light sand, and my Riddler diff covers light sand with black "R" and black bolts.....actually looked sharp.
My plan was desert desert digital camo, but I'm too lazy right now.

I love the dune color! It is very rugged looking IMO. People always say to me, THAT COLOR IS SO TUFF. It looks almost like a military desert storm assault vehicle color. Here are some pics of mine, she is a work in progress.

I waited from joining this forum in July of last year until around March, waiting to see Dune in person. It wasn't for me because I thought it slightly too much on the yellow spectrum, and went CG instead.

I agree with NFRs: Dune and CG are both a little light, but the more black you have on your rig, the better they look. Colored fenders and hard top don't do the color justice, IMHO. Adding some black brings the brightness down a few notches.

Glad to see a thread on this underappreciated color!

I totally agree, the dune was slightly bright. As I started adding the black accents it really started to look better and better. Now I am totally in love with the color, it has transformed into a completely different look... IMO if it had color matched top and fenders it would be too much.

If it's any consolation, my young daughters call my CG "The Booger-Mobile", and my wife suggested I get "SWT PEA" personalized plates.

I guess you can come up with a grose description for any color! For example: blue balls blue, semon white, fire crotch red... The list goes on and on! LMAO haha

The Dune color Wranglers are very rare in Georgia or at least I have yet to see too many of them. Dune is a nice looking color and there are some nice looking Jeeps on this thread.
