Just picked up my seat covers and didnt know I would be this excited getting seat covers!! They are very well built and fit snug so far. I just put them on to let them stretch out a bit overnight. There are zippered pockets front and back and the attachment straps are all over! They come with 2 pouches and a nice carry bag for stuff. Check out their website

Welcome to Trek Armor

Mitch the sales manager was very helpful and made sure I got my order and color. Was thinking about the gray, but the red adds some "pop" and interest to an otherwise boring interior. I also got the drivers side lumbar support. The tops werent that to put on as I turned them 1/2 way inside out and just rolled it down. Letting them stretch and find their set position before I put in the holes for the headrest.

Fade resistant for 3 years and the backing is waterproof material. These are great covers esp if you are not sold on neoprene! (I wasnt) Highly recommend them as well as their service!!

So these are indeed good looking, but help me out--what's the point here?

The neoprene ones profess water protection, though it admittedly comes at the expense of a sweaty butt. Iggees and Katskins can give you leather (or something similar) where there was no leather before.

What are these going to do for you? Is it just better durability over the factory seat fabric? Or are they easily removable for washing? Is it just an appearance thing?

Don't get me wrong--I like them and they're cool. I'm just wondering what functionality they're offering.

My Jeep is topless and doorless about 8 months out of the year, during which time my seats are getting deteriorated under the hot SoCal sun, out on the trails picking up lots of dirt, sitting overnight in my driveway collecting dew, and occasionally caught in the rain. So for me, I want something that will protect the seats from deterioration, and will not absorb dirt and moisture like the seats do.

I'm not currently using any seat covers, but I've got my eyes on these trek armor ones.

The TA are water resistent and the backing is waterproof according to their website. I like the way they look, the protection they offer, and actually prefer this material for comfort over the stock cloth. One added plus I discovered is all the Molle straps and the ability to attach cargo pouches, small flashlight, d-clips, cell phone pouch, pocket knife, pens, all within easy reach. The front pockets have zippers as well as the back pockets. I just got the fronts and I think they are well worth the cost over any of the neoprene ones.
Helpful info gents, thanks.

Got to add these to "the list" . . . dammit . . .

Hi everyone.
I have a 2012 with katzkins and side air bags. I'm looking for a waterproof seat cover to protect the leather against the elements, but doesn't give me swamp a$$. The trek armors say they are not compatible with side air bags. Also, I would rather not spend a fourtune on seat covers. I know, I know I want miracles... Any recommendations??
