Did you get the full Synergy kit? I got the Northridge grade 8 kit without the bolts for the uppers. Replacing the stock tabbed nuts with standard nuts was a pain, but somehow I did it on the axle side of the track bar...remember how I had an adjustable wrench stuck there for weeks?

Yeah. I got the synergy kit but I didn't get the one with the tab bolts. I didn't know there were 2 different kits so I just ordered the first one I saw. Will call them Monday.

At least I managed to get the rear LCAs done while I was installing my rear shocks. Will tackle the front this weekend.

The $80 half kit from synergy doesn't include uppers. I think the full kit with uppers is $120. I don't know if any come with tab bolts. I was just saying my cheaper Northridge kit used standard bolts to replace stock tabbed bolts and was a pain to install so the synergy kit may not use replacement tabbed bolts either.

Just saw your pics...if you got the top kit, you don't have replacement uppers (uca). The instructions are the same for both kits.

Yeah. I didn't know synergy had a full kit either, but I'd just install what you have and replace the uppers with bolts from a hardware store.

All I need are the tab nuts. My kit came with bolts for the UCAs. I could use the nuts that came with it but you can attest to the pain in trying that.

I see. Apparently both companies think you can switch out the nut tabs with standard nuts. I tried to reuse my factory nut tabs, but they were threaded differently than the bolts. Maybe you just need nut tabs threaded for the synergy bolts.

That's what I'm saying.

Gonna call synergy and see if they'll just send me the 4 tab bolts from the other kit. I may be able to get them free.

Are you sure synergy even supplies tabbed nuts? I didn't get replacement tabbed nuts with my kit.

The Synergy complete set comes with 4 tab nuts (2ea.) For the uppers, I paid 100 bucks from a link on this site, or I think it was from this site? The packing slip I got does not have a name on it, months ago so I don't remember! You might Google the item # PPM-8050-02 & see if it gets you something. It was only 20 more than a half set. I know it was not from one of the big name suppliers.

Thanks for the reply! I would have paid more just for this.

I just checked the Synergy site & the complete kit is listed @ $165. I wouldn't mind doing the complete kit but surely a person could piece this thing together for a much more reasonable price? Where is the best place to get the complete kit?

I was trying to help since it took me 2 weeks to change the bolts on mine. I didn't have time to do everything at once. Thanks for your patience and good luck!

Piece together online or a local hardware store using the synergy instructions. I bought Northridge cuz it saved me TIME, not money and used Synergy instructions for the install.

If you got a welder and some time, the synergy are grade 9 not off the shelf of most hardware stores.

Yes there is a link up the thread a bit. There is a list of the lengths in the beginning. but 9/16 - 18 grade 8 bolts, stover nuts, and grade 8 fat flat washers.

Nothing against people selling put together kits, I am just cheap.

Called synergy. I'm an idiot and I think someone my have already stated this but: the 8050 kit is just for the LCAs and track bar.

The 8050-01 kit is just for the UCAs. I'm gonna order it just so ill know the whole system has been upgraded.
