Now that's refreshing!!!

We get waves all the time in my brothers 98 Buick, but not so much (if ever) in my other brothers 01 Buick. This I know, 98's don't wave to 01's - it's really depressing. But then, the 01's think they are uppity yuppie scum - who cares you've got AM *AND* FM ...

I like this so much more than another "wave" thread.

Thanks!

I'm also in south Georgia and wave all the time. Best response is when the top is down and the doors are off. Sometimes I can just see the envy in thier eyes because their top is up.

Anyway, shooting a bird here can get bullets in return ....

I get strange looks all the time. I'm used to it.

In my Lotus I wave at Porsche's, Ferrari's, Lambo's, and Jeep Wranglers....I've only received one wave from someone I didn't know...and it was a Jeep...actually it was before I bought my jeep and he was waving like crazy, and telling me how cool the car was. Really made my day.

In the Jeep I wave at Wranglers and Pretty ladies.

Anywho....I wave at tons of people.

Around here if you're on a two lane highway, and you see an oncoming vehicle you wave....unless you're a prick.

I say grow up. The entire reason behind the wave is a "friendly" community. If you have to start resorting to flipping people off, what's the point? I've always been courteous to another Jeeper, bust as stated earlier.. how do you know what that person is thinking. Maybe the Jeep wave has never come acrossed their mind. I don't see it in the owner's manual.

Lighten up, and just keep wavin'. They'll either catch on, or just never get it.

I guess all is right in the world when all we have be worried about is who didn't do the jeep wave

Greetings. I have been riding motorcycles since the late 60's. People have always complained about the lack of waving. I used to wave a lot, but now days there are way too many people going through red lights and stop signs, if they stop at all. And them damned cell phones/texting. There was a lady last week that was driving and dropped her phone. While she was trying to pick it up she hit another car and a 4 year old was killed. I keep my mind on traffic, but if I see a wave, I will wave back.

HA! I ALWAYS wave. When my girl takes the Jeep out, she waves too.

I find that most MEN know to wave here in Michigan. Most WOMEN don't.

Keep in mind, if you are in my neck of the woods (Detroit) and you flip even a Wrangler owner the bird, you might want to make sure you're packin'

I ride a motorcycle and used to wave at all bikes that went by. But It really bugged me when a biker would just stare at you trying to look all bad as he went by and not wave back . So I finally found a solution that worked for me and I have applied it to the jeep as well, I just never wave first anymore, problem solved

its okay, I don't wave at 4 door hummer jeeps.

Nah I'm just kidding. I don't care if your jeep grew extra doors.

most of the TJ and YJ jeeps around me wave. for some reason the JK models don't i'm guessing they are just rich snobs who decided to buy a 4 door jeep cause it looked like a hummer

Heck, I wave at other jeeps even when Im in my Suburban or my wifes's vette.

She doesnt understand.

I prolly dont understand.

Yeah, I get irked when folks dont wave back, even when I'm in my 'sissified TJ" with the top and doors on and wimpy 31" tires.

I know...I'm not worthy. (grovel)

But... I'll keep wav'n.

Some get it...some dont.

I try to wave at every jeep I pass. Sometimes I miss them and throw my arm out the window once they are already passed. Half the time I don't even look if they waved back cause of traffic of something. The best wave I had was across 4 lanes of traffic doing 70!!

Smile thank God

Thereīs a few Jeeps here where I live, and most of them are from my friends. Anyway when I wave an unknow jeep on the road, some times they wave back and sometimes they donīt. then i think maybe iīm kind of crazy waving people that i donīt know. This tread tells me itīs a jeep thing. I will continue waving no matter what.

Thanks.
