Talking The jeep that made my heart beat faster!

Ok, I could not stop thinking about that jeep that I fell in love with on the showroom floor! The heck with the 2012's.....I pulled the trigger on an 11! I think I got a pretty good deal but even if not I am happy with my purchase.....$35,000.00 + ttl......I love my jeep! Here is what I got:

2011 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Sport - deep cherry red
Automatic, Pkg 24s, connectivity group, supplemental airbags, trac-lock limited slip diff., tubular sidesteps, 7 speaker infinity w/ subwoofer, sirius sat radio, 3 pc hard top.

2 1/2 sky? something lift,
Procomp mud terrain tires 35x12.50r17lt,
XD Series wheels,
slush mats, 4 grab handles, KC lights, mopar black gas door and black tail light guards, brackets to mount mirrors when the doors are off, something for the rear tire to help with it's weight on the rear door.
I think I listed everything.

Rides great! I love it! Brought it home topless and doorless......65 mph down the freeway was interesting!

Thanks to everyone here who answered my questions! Now I have one more........I have 500 dollars in mopar bucks. I was considering either the mopar gps security system or the mopar cold air intake. Suggestions or opinions?

Very nice Jeep. I was thinking bumper also. When having gear oil changed today I was looking at those exact wheels and wondering how they would look on my Jeep.

Nice! That's awesome that you got all that from the dealership! When I saw 35k I thought it was high but with the budget boost and 35s and nice rims that's a nice rig!!! I'd go for a bumper too! Good luck!!!

She is a beauty! I think I might have had to bring her home as well. I think I might go with the front bumper as well (Mopar makes one for $600).

Cold air intakes sound really good, so I'd consider it.

Do you know if it was regeared to account for the tires? If not, I wonder if you could someone finesse your way into getting a $500 credit toward that. Surely there's gears offered for sale in the Mopar performance catalog? Still might end up costing more than aftermarket though . . .

Whatever the case, that looks great.

So funny, I just posted in another thread about wanting to wait until 2012 model, but ended up seeing the one jeep with my name on it and buying it.

I have no regrets and I know you won't either. You got quite the looker and I know your going to have loads of fun with her.

That is one sweet ride.

Nice rig. And i vote for the bumper or re-gearing.

Oh, yeah. It's SkyJacker for your lift.

I went to our area dealer on Thursday and looked at this...they send a couple a Wranglers to AEV and have them modded and shipped back. This one is pretty sweet, but the tag is out of my range. I think you scored NICE on your ride.

Here is a link to the dealer close to me with the two JKUs they have back from AEV
2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara For Sale | Jamestown, Allegany, Bradford, PA - Olean NY - 11-1325

It's nice that the dealers are putting more effort into aftermarket equipment for people.

You already got all the mods you need from dealer. For your mopar bucks I'd look at bikini top, sill gaurds, grill inserts, floor mats, hood scoop, grab handles.

Well, look at it this way. For what most of us spend just to buy the Jeep & then what we put out to customize it, we probably spend that much anyway. She just spent the money all at once & has all the work done for her, & has warranty on it all.

AEV is an exceptionally reputable jeep customization company that is really well known. If you personally went through AEV you'd probably pay more... But you are paying for the AEV name as well there are a lot of local jeep shops that will work with a dealer to customize your jeep and work with price and financing... Fact is though going through a dealer is more expensive for mods but sometimes more convenient cause it's worked into your financing... Looks to me like this particular deal was pretty good pricing not exceptional but definitely not highway robbery and it is nice that it's 1) done period. And 2) done by the dealer so I'm sure there is some kind of warranty... One downside to dealer mods is that you can't sell your stock parts to recoup some money.

All I meant was it was a fair price for it being worked into the financing but had it all been done after the purchase it probably would have been less then 6k and she could've sold all of her stock parts had she so desired... Had I come across this deal would I have taken it? Yes 100%! it's a beautiful jeep at a very fair price!

Yes she could have sold after mod parts but she would have had to pay someone to install mods. Push in my book

This is quite true. When you think of the time, energy and waiting you put into doing your mods, there is a price on all of that. Plus, as was said, having it all done by the dealer does afford you the warrantied position. Any mod you do to a vehicle - no matter how slight - sends the service department into a mode of looking for a way to void the warranty. But when the dealer makes the mods they can't claim that one on you. Plus, all of her mods look pretty sweet. I say epic pass.
