The wait is over...in two days

Just got a call from my sales guy. My Jeep has arrived.

'Bout time!

Picking it up Monday. Barring any problems (unexpected black / saddle interior , or things of a similar nature) I'll post pics Monday night.

I'm paying cash for it. The bank where this $ is coming from is in TX, and closes at noon. Got the call from the salesman @ 11. Not enough time for me to properly inspect the Jeep...then, if everything's okay, fill out and sign the paperwork, initiate the wire transfer, etc.

It's not like the Jeep's gonna up and decide to go to the Caymans, you know?

I can tell you right now, if I go in Monday to pick up my Jeep (black) and find a black / saddle interior – SURPRISE! – you'll see the mushroom cloud from your crib in CT.

Yeah, I can not agree more with you, that Black/Dark Saddle interior is the ugliest combo jeep could come up with...
I custom ordered mine in that horrendous color with the plain bright white exterior.

I love it the interior and exterior color combo...

I'm pretty sure they would have let you take your Jeep today and complete the transaction on Monday it would have given you time to look at the jeep inside out.... I am pretty sure you are getting what you ordered.

Yeah, I'm certain they would have done that.

But I'm not driving it off the lot till I've checked it and satisfied myself that it is what it's supposed to be, and in the shape it's supposed to be in.

Any mistakes, glitches, scratches or omissions will be documented in writing with my salesman (and whoever else they want) present.

You take the Jeep and drive off in it for the weekend, signed paperwork or not, and you've opened the door to getting screwed.

Salesmen love impatience. It's their best friend. Why do you think they won't talk #'s over the phone?

Fourty-eight hours is nothing in the context of a 26K + transaction.
