I got a letter in the mail from one of the dealers saying they want my jeep due to a increase demand of used jeeps. And since it has "low" milage they are willing to give more than black book value. And they will give up to 13,000 dollors in cash as well.
Seems nice & all if I was looking to trade. But mi babi is still new to me & im not looking to spend more money. They can suck it!
Everyone that buys a new vehicle gets this letter. I have received one for my Tundra, Civic, Tacoma, Silverado and a Taurus
License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.
I wonder if they send more letters to JKU owners than JK owners? Reason is I NEVER see a JKU at my dealer's lot. All of them are JK. Wonder if they want those JKU in because they can't keep them in stock? Either way no thanks!
This stuff does have an element of honesty. Thanks to cash for clunkers, the used car market got severely depleted. Dealers also make FAR more money on used cars as opposed to new cars. They might only make a few hundred bucks off a brand new car (plus factory incentives) but they can make THOUSANDS on used cars. Many would love to give you a great trade in deal, and give you a new one for invoice (if it is a desirable vehicle like a wrangler).
