If you have lots of money, then there's this:
Aeroforce Technology Inc | Products - Interceptor
But it's hard to find a good place to mount it.
You forgot the Scanguage II. I have it in mine, mounted on the dash just in front of me with velcro. Works well... So far I have my 4 line display set to MPH/RPM/Volts/MPG...There are many more to choose from. I like it!

You can kinda see it in this pic.

Wish jeeps came with a lockable fuel door that's keyed to the ignition. My tundra has one that was standard in 2000.

Haha, I had my light come on the other week in my truck. That was the first time I had ever seen a washer light. I always check when I have the hood open for all my vehicles.

You're supposed to throw those bolts in the trash after the first time they're removed.

I simply csnnot understsnd all this fascination with a fuel door, let salone a locking one. The open filling area is almost as iconic as the 7 slot grill.

I have to agree with you.
I wonder if they could go more retro and have a new style cap that looks more like the old domed metal ones without the tether on it?

Yeah. Did that on a TJ. Walked out of the grocery store to a Jeep with no doors on it. Had to buy new ones.

As long as it locks from the factory. Should be standard. In Albuquerque idiots stealling gas is comon if not locked. Cap or door.

I think everyone has covered it for me...... It has been fun adding some of the mod's, The only thing my wife wanted (power drivers seat ,and a hemi ) . I went with the sport 4dr, Jeep should give 2 engine choices / leave the sport basic, sahara with all the power features and a Rubicon any way you want it, and lifted ! If they build it people will buy it.. My local dealer build Sports with AEV lift and tires for slightly more or the same as rubicon prices and sells them much faster, and they are much tougher looking ( 3.5" lift, winch,bumpers,35's, nicer wheels and new hood )

"I simply csnnot understsnd all this fascination with a fuel door, let salone a locking one. "

the good old CJ2 featured the gas cap under the driver seat pad.....which itself being a piece of plywood with some kind of fabric stapled on to it, was example of bare knuckle engineering of the day

Just a note. The 2012 Rubicons now come with grab handles from the factory. They even include 4 of them for the JKU's.

I think it shold have come with grab handles mounted to the A-pillars like my old Liberty had. Especially for a vehicle that has such high clearance. Climbing in can be a pain.

Agree that a grille guard should be standard, sill guards too. Although I did add both (just added by drake grill inserts yesterday matter of fact).

The lack of a fuel door I don't mind. That seems like one of those "jeep things" that has become almost iconic over the years. I thought about putting a door on it but the open look has sort of grown on me

3) Locking nuts. Ok maybe a dealer installed item, bought them.

4) Grab Handles. Really ?? Added

I'm sure there's more. Feel free to add and call me a whiner.

remember the seventies, think "first gas shortage", when gas hits 5 bucks a gallon, we may all be looking for secure locking caps and covers. of course then the bad guys might just punch a hole in our tanks and drain it that way.

wish i had pics of my 74 cj, my bare bones 12 jk seems like a rolls royce compared to that.

Exactly. No one siphons anymore. If someone wants to steal gas they are punching a hole in the plastic tank with a screw driver. Think your stock skid plate makes it safe? Take a good look at the drain holes.

I lost the only pictures of my 80 CJ7 in the great purge. (divorce)

It appears that none of you have driven topless in the rain. Otherwise the most glaring thing that has always been missing on Jeeps would have been one of the first things on the list. Inside windshield wipers! An inside wash system for those wipers would also be good for dusty trails.

I think they should have added something to keep the vertical part of your seatbelt from flapping against the plastic piece on the side when the top is down. Drives me nuts!!!!! I had a buddy make me up a 2" x 5" piece of black nylon and put 2 snaps on it and hooked it to that plastic piece to keep the seatbelt from flapping.....

Arctic Edition...engine block warmer?
locking nut for spare tire (I like the look without a cover which seems like an easy grab for a thief)

Mine came with a block heater... But i think every vehicle sold in Canada comes standard that way. Kind of necessary.

It took me a couple of months of ownership to realize there was no ventilation to the back of my 2011 JK 4-door. In the winter it is hard to keep the inside at a even temp. That and the weak engine are my only complaints.

IMHO I would like to see them go ahead and put bedliner in. I want to take my carpet out but dont want the bare floor without any protection. Just bought a house and no extra cash for the bedliner to be sprayed in.
