Think my JK can handle this snow?

Had to post. This is our first, last, and probably only snow fall this year here in the triangle. Now back to starring at my jeep through the window wishing more would fall.

Pic from my new GoPro Hero 2.

You might need tire chains to get thru that much snow.

I would so trade some of the terrain around here for some of that to wheel out there Jim. We got a ton of snow last year at Christmas but I was rocking good ole SR-As which were super great in it.

Haha! Nice. We got about the same amount here in the Burlington area. I'm scared I might not be able to make it into work in the morning.

Drove home today from the TN River. Snowed the entire way! Loved it! Snow has been rare to say the least here this year!

Weird how the snow in that last pic looks like it was just peeled back off the front light

We haven't received much snow here in Ohio this year either. Compared to the snowpocalypse of last year, we may have received 3" total so far.

It was weird! Its what I saw when I pulled into the driveway. Had to snap a pic! There was sleet falling too, so I suppose it was ice. Lived in TN my whole life and we are still snow newbs!

I think I saw a couple flakes this year. Last year was crazy, this year just plain depressing. I think the only reason why people aren't screaming global warming is this winter has been cold, just snowless. Maybe we'll make up for this crappy winter next year!

Be really careful. That much snow can put a lot of torque on the wiper motors. Maybe you should wait until summer to drive.

Mine got dumped on like that once this winter. By the time I got off work it melted away.

So now I am ready for summer and topless cruising.

I am definitely with you on that. I am the kind who is ok with going topless and doorless when it's 50 outside or less and just running the heater if need be. Spring can't get here soon enough.

ESP, I was SO pi$$ed I missed this! Was in the mountains of Virginia this weekend with the family and woke up to 8 inches of snow on Monday morning. And here I was driving the wife's Pilot! Damn you creature comforts like DVD players that keep the kids entertained! Drove through the remnants all the way to lake Norman, then there was nothing. Got home and my Jeep gave me the evil eye!
A side note, thanks to your advice (and others) I ordered my new rims and tires yesterday. Pics to come when they are mounted up!
