next you will see them lowered onto those 22"s i cant wait till they make bigger rims, should be good for laughs. can u imagine 31" of chrome with some 33" low profiles?

Does any one remember the 'Texas edition' dodge pickups? they had 20's on them. guess that is the texas edition jeep. sad though. next up....neon uncarriage lights, and 12's in the back, oh and lets not forget the fart can :P and "powered by daimlerchrysler' stickers

I wonder how long those rims would last on the trail.

The closets a Jeep like that will get to a trail, is when they cut the corner at the mall and drive over the edge of the grass in the median! I for one, certainly wouldn't give my business to any dealer who would desecrate a Jeep with bling like that.

15's and 17's are so much easier to find replacements for. The size where you run into dead ends are the 16's.

have you guys seen where people have started installing lift kits onto their cars so that they can cram on bigger rims? it is ridiculous. toyota also does a texas edition for their tacoma that comes with 20's.

yes... very popular down here in the south.... what they commonly do though to keep the center of gravity low though is open up the wheel well. looks really funky. seen it done on vintage all the way to hondas sometimes i wish shops would say "Look sir, I will not deface that Impalla SS like that!" but its hard to turn down money

I think it would be cool to do my wife's BMW with 20's lifted and fender flares.

NOT.

well the best future for those rims/tires is a rock trail or junkyard or to be melted

Those things remind me of a vehicle that my mothers first boyfriend after my parents divorced had. He called it the fun-mobile. 1955 BelAire body on a 1976 Chev 4X4 frame, lifted and 36's. Definately turned heads but was a waste of a nice classic in my opinion.

If you place your hand on the computer screen just so, they almost look normal and the chunks will stop rising in your throat.

I would like to open another Jeep store accross the street because he is clueless.

I'm thinking I could get rich!

wow i dont have that much of road clearance even on my jeep dangit now days people are "cool" and they are "gangsters"

I agree have it the way you want it but still this should be illegal.. i wouldnt feel safe driving next to 1 of these.. first of all i dont know which wheel will come off first and second most likely i or the person next to me will be the one that gets harmed if it flips or something... my point is if it wasnt designed for it dont make it. I wouldnt go offroad in my miata that was only 3" from the ground and also i wouldnt go highspeed racing in my wrangler..

I recently bought a Jeep, and admittedly was leaning toward a leaf-sprung version, but I did hit alot of new and used car lots in the course of 3mos of looking.....

I think you all would be amazed at how many I saw with the 20" rims and low profile tires, as put on by the dealer....

One dealer/salesman here in PHX, off Camelback and I17 admitted the 'target market' is the in town, 'metrosexual' guys who want to look manly but really are not wanting the reality that goes with it.

Looking at the lot, and the new JK's, I would have to agree with the market shift/aim....

Don't get me wrong, the new JK's, stock are very capable, but the more 'comforts' they put into it, the more it will suffer, if not in capability, but in perception.

Good Luck Jeep....
