those headlights from 2013

While trying to replace the headlights with the JW speakers I noticed that the original headlights has an extra lightbulb besides the one on the H4.

So if I replace the headlights what doI do with extra bulb that is wired to the main headlight ?

I only had one light on my 2013. Any chance you could post a picture?

Sorry forgot to take a pic.

Since is the start of the week I can't do anything til the weekend. But let me describe what I saw.

After loosening the headlight (stock H4 Hella) since I am in Panama. I noticed two lines plugged to the headlight. One is the H4 that is plugged in the center but then below there is another line. I pulled this one out of the headlight housing to reveal a tiny little light bulb.

Can someone clarify with me how can I use my new JW to be installed then? I am afraid of the little line with the bulb.

The Smaller Bulb is a City Light.

You can Unplug the Bulb, Tape the Socket Up, and tuck it away. Then just Plug In the JW Speaker and put everything back together and you're Good to go.

But there won't be a loose circuit since the bulb is not there? Like the parking lights when not connected, the rest of the turn lights will blink faster?

thanks

That Bulb is on Steady. It does not Blink with your Turn Signals, so it should not have an effect on them.

Before you put everything back Together, just pop Out the Small Bulb from each Headlamp, and Cycle your Lights and see if you get any kind of Bulb Out Warning or Fast Blinkers.

Do it with the Jeep Running at Idle as well, not just with the Key in the On Position.

Duramaxxed,

Thanks for your help. I will look forward this weekend to run your suggestions. It is hard to find help here locally, I am glad that I can get some help on the forums.
