Thump sound from rear when making turns??

Hello, Jeep Gurus!

I came back from a little trail run last weekend and ever since then I hear a medium size, thud or thump sound from the rear when I make turns.

Let's say I make right turn and and the thump sound comes from left rear.. When I make another right turn after that, no sound. But as soon as i make left turn, then the thump sound comes back but this this from right rear.

So, if i keep making same turn, there is no sound. But if I make right turn from left or left from right, thumps sound comes back!

Any idea?

I have 2010JK MTN Edition..

Take the bowling ball out of your trunk.

I know it's not exactly the same but I just went through this with my 89 YJ. I had to replace the rear track bar. Your's might have loosened a bit. I believe there has to be 125lbs of torque on the bolts.

Check on your shocks in the back...might have blown one.

Could it be the jack? I heard thumping for about a month and just recently pulled the jack out to use and it was loose and sliding around in there.

Haha, not a problem. When I first heard the thunks in the back, it was right after putting my new soft top on, so I thought something was broken too.
