Ticking sound coming from passenger side

Hey everyone,

Hope someone may have run into this issue/sound before. When I'm driving in the right lane and I pass by any sort of curb or "wall" I can hear a loud constant ticking sound. Similar to the sound you'd hear if you put a small twig in the spokes of your bike. The sound only exists when moving, at a standstill the sound disappears. Any idea what this could be?

When I'm driving in the left lane and there is nothing for sound to bounce off of I can't hear it at all. Just curious if anyone knows what could cause this. I have to keep my passenger side window rolled up all the time because it's driving me bananas. I am going into the dealership on Thursday to drop something off so I'll get them to take a look, but in the meantime I thought I'd reach out to the forums incase it was something I could fix myself.

Car is brand new - only has 2,000 KMs on it.

Thanks in advance!

Is the ticking constant at various speeds? This might be way too simple, but have you checked your tires to see if there are any rocks in the treads? I've got a long gravel driveway and sound like like a tap dancer when I get on pavement. You might try standing on either side of the road and having a friend drive the jeep past you at various speeds to see what you hear.

Usually when I hear a ticking noise from the passenger's side it's my wife tapping her nails because I'm either driving too fast or too slow or too just right.

Suggestion: Ride without passengers. ;)
