Not saying he's a wrong or anything, may be his experience, but I have heard quite the opposite for the eco boost. I had an '05 F150 Crew Cab with the 5.4L V8 and got better than 16 mpg city.A friend of mine just bought the ecoboost f150. He has already had it serviced 2times and he isn't at 10,000 miles yet. He said the dealer told him others were having problems. Plus he gets no where near that 23 mpg they say. He says about 16 city and 20 is his max highway(no wind, no traffic and not more than 60 mph) his average highway is 18-19. At that point id keep the jeep or buy another car for the miles reason

I am thinking about getting a 2012 Ford F150 ecoboost. I hear so much good things about them and I can even trailer the Jeep if I need to. Looked at this a few days ago, but wasn’t an Eco.
