Tinted Rear and Quarter Windows

In the 2010 Jeep Wrangler catalog under standard equipment for the Sahara is says Deep-Tinted Sunscreen Rear and Quarter Windows. Are they referring to the Soft Top or Hard Top windows. If its the soft top can they be ordered for the Wrangler Sport?

I have a 2010 Wrangler Sport "S" soft top with the deep tinted windows. They were a $300 upgrade option but I think they are very worth it. They were hard to find, most of the dealerships in my area only had the regular clear windows.

They are both (hard and soft top) standard on the Sahara , I have the Sahara with both tops, and I believe they can be ordered for the Sport its the same top.

My 2007 Sahara has the "Dual Top" option. Both the hard and soft tops have dark side and rear windows. Works great here in Arizona.

Wish the hard top had better/more insulation on the roof. It is painted white, but is still too hot here when the outside temperature is over 110F.

I think they look good and was actually considering it until I thought about a potential issue. Security with soft tops is always a concern. I don't keep anything in my Jeep. However, with the tinted windows it won't be obvious that nothing is in there and could lead to vandalism. Based on that I've decided not to go with tinited soft top windows.

Thanks for the information. I have found out that you can order them at mopar.com. The kit number for the black top is 82209934 and for the tan is 82209933. MSRP is $371.00. I plan to order them through my dealer where I get a 10% discount on all Mopar accessories.

Tinted windows are WAY more popular than untinted these days, for sure. Our new stuff, like the Trektop, doesn't even come in untinted.

I saw a Suburban the other day with completely clear side glass. I don't mean just not having the dark limo tint. I mean totally untinted. It looked really unusual.

You can get replacement factory windows from Bestop for less than the dealer. They are the same windows.....
