I'm due up on tires for my 2010 JK 2 door manual which I drive as an everyday car. I live on the east coast so I deal with a lot of snow and I do take the car to the beach-
I have the 17" upgrade- what tires do you recommend. I really don't do any hard core off roading and need more of a day-to-day tire.
I've got GY Duratracs on my 2 door JK and love them. Great in the snow, ice, rain, etc. They look quite aggressive and can handle some off roading if you ever choose to.
I also have GY Wrangler Silent Armors on my KJ. They ride well for an AT tire and do extremely well in the snow, ice, and rain also.
Both are available in sizes to fit your 17" rims. From the use you're describing, I think you would probably be happy with either.
I'm about to replace the stock SR-A's with Duratracs next week on my two door also. I've driven Tahoe's with the SR-A's on them and they were downright scary in the snow and there's no way I'm winter driving in the Jeep on those.
