Actual tire pressure will fluctuate with ambient temperature and when tires heat up driving. I checked mine with a quality tire gauge to compare, and they were in the ballpark if not pretty close.
My EVIC reads about 3 psi high compared to a pretty good hand held pressure gauge.
As mentioned above, it's normal for them to fluctuate.
One interesting thing I've noticed is that when I park with one side of the Jeep facing the sun for a few hours, and then check the gauge when I when I start up, the sun side tires are a PSI or so higher than the shade tires due to the heat.
My dash pressure readings seem pretty accurate, seems to match this gage very closely. JACO Elite Tire Pressure Gauge - 60 PSI https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010A6B6KG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_5mVtzbPSKEFWS
I've found a lot of variation between cheap pressure gage's that I buy at Walmart etc. and I searched for one that claimed a high degree of accuracy and found that one. Tire pressure fluctuates a lot more with larger tires, both with outdoor temperature and driving, sun or shade side of the vehicle too.
The TPMS is not very accurate... I checked it against several guages various times... Always seems to be high about 3-4 psi... Its basically there to warn you of air pressure changes... not true indication of tire pressure....
Mine are nearly spot on. At most, 1psi off. Checked against an old fashion pen style gauge.
