Tire Price/Size Question

Curious why 33x12.5R15 are more expensive than 35x12.5R15. Difference is only a few dollars but one would think more rubber more money. Unless the demand for 33's is that much greater. Maybe someone with some insight can explain.

i would bet they're more money right now because they're selling faster/demand is higher... that and the anticipated fuel costs rising, goodyear probably recognized they're gonna make more money on the 33's.

but, i could be way off. i went with the goodyear wrangler duratracs 315/75 r16's i love em. they measure right around 34.5"x12.6" mounted on my wheels.
