Tire size

An I use a 35x12.50 tire on a 2007 unlimited 4 door stock wheel? The tire vendor said people do it and hasn't heard of any problems. Straight answer please

Sure you can put it on the wheel. Putting it on your Wrangler will require some modifications.

Yep. You'll need wheel spacers from spidertrax.. but any kind of wheel spacer is not recomended. It can be done and lots of people do it but is always best to go with a new rim with the propper bs and offset

A wide tire on a narrow rim wears out a tire prematurely. Look at the recommended wheel (width) size for that tire.

bull. done it for years just rotate your tires and your fine. wide tires on skinny wheels=cheep bead lock just the tire guy will hate you.

they will fit you'll just need to do a little cutting on some plastic and metal. they should clear with bushwacker or other brands flat fenders

I just put 35s on my 2011 JKU with no lift and had no problems whatsoever.

Then I took a couple guys to lunch the next day and rubbed at any decent sized bump. Trimmed the fenders & bent over the pinch seam last night and I'm waiting to play lunchwagon again to see if anything still rubs. I won't do any serious off-roading until I get a lift, 1" min Budget Boost but likely a 2.5" Old Man Emu or Teraflex.

Before trimmed fenders, to quote the wife: "squashy"

Trimmed

Can you also confirm for me that I'll get more miles out of a set of 35" tires than I would the same set of 31" tires? That's my story for upgrading to a set of 35s. They do have more circumference, so it seems theoretical that they'd get more miles per wheel revolution right?

I have a 2" body lift and a 2.5" suspension lift not worried about the rubbing
