Tire siZe question

So i got a stock hight jku 2011. Just about to put some rugged ridge flat fender flares on that i got for a screamin deal ( other wise i was just gunna trim). What's the biggest tire that anyone here has fit on without rubbing. I had a 35 i rolled over beside it the other day and once i put these on it almost looks like it would fit? Or maybe im on drugs?

With flats and less backspaced wheels it can be done FYI

I agree that it will work. I've run with a guy a few times that did the same -- flats and 35's. Says it doesn't rub at all.

Wouldn't hurt to find some 19/60 springs though.

My on-road only daily driver. Removed the plastic air dam from the front as opposed to trimming the corners of it so it wouldn't rub. I take it easy over bumps because the 315/70s will rub the flares if I'm not. Ordering a set of Bushwacker flats for it soon, but it is working fine for my current needs as is. Love that you can fit 35s on stock setup and just be careful with your driving while you wait for the flares and lift to come later.
