I 'm about to pull the trigger on a wheel tire combo. I'm weighing price as far as going with 15's on 15" black steel modular wheels {back space?},and maximum 15" tire size with Teraflex leveling kit. I know theres a link somewhere but I'm a lazy bastid. : }
Very little chance that 15" steel wheels will fit without spacers. If you want steel wheels, you've pretty much got to go with 16s. If you're comfortable with alloy, there are quite a few 15" wheels that fit. Your max tire size is going to be in the neighborhood of 33x12.5.

TF lists the max tire diameter for the leveling kit at 34". I'm imagining you would get a bit of fender rub in flexy situations though, especially is disconnected.
Never heard of the summits with 3.75 back spacing hitting on a d-30. d-44 yes.
