Tires for 15 wheels

Why are they so much cheaper?

I have an 07 rubicon with aftermarket pretty standard black 17" wheels looking at 35x12.5x17s.

I priced the KM2s at $370 each at 4wp.

The same tire for a 15" wheel is $245. At that price I can get a wheel that I want and the set of tires for a little more than just the tires with my 17" wheels.

I don't get the big price difference...

Thats why so many people stick with 15" rims.

Probably because a lot of people these days like bigger wheels so there is more demand. Works out for me because I like 15s

that's what I was thinking. I think 15s look good with a big tire

Yup, supply and demand. More people want the 22" over the 15". I also went with 15's for this reason: saved $100 per tire. Really adds up if you eventually replace your tires.

Only problem is you can't find 37's in a 15. You have to move to 17" at that point.

If I could afford all the upgrades and lift for 37s I'd get those but for now I'll just get 15" wheels and the cheaper tires
