To hot, got a bestop

So last weekend I had my hardtop off, left the doors on, well, perhaps it was a 4 day weekend...

Kinda got burnt, wind burn and my ... don't even want to go there!

This weekend the doors HAD to go.

Too much at 85 degrees, clear 10 miles, light breeze out of the south at 7 mph, patchy clouds just to remind you this is Gods country and this sky's are the biggest to prove it

So this safari top i figured I'd try today, (no idea why the name), while it blocks the sun great it looks like, not so good.

It's pretty hoakey, unless you think all jeep ragtops don't need fit worth a fill of beans (sorry).

To top it off, my 87 year old WWII vet FIL, that can tell some stories about how you free a "wedged" jeep w/3 guys, was like "what happened to the grab handle, I'm gonna have to hop in like I'm wounded and this one is higher".

He made it like Hitler was on his 6 o'clock.

If I put the doors on, forget it. It don't look like it will work.

Kinda sags sitting there, then looks like the staypuf marshmallow man, at 40 mph.

Is this the wrong forum for this?

Get a trektop nx. Soft top and a safari top in one. It has bows in it so it doesn't sag, and it fits tight.

Won't work w/my swag/Hi-lift or I might have (guy offered, looked out the window and said "nope, won't work").

Guy sized me up against all the jeeps parked on the lot and instantly corrected the attempt to sell - dude was on the ball.

Guy spoke to me wondering why, when sized up against other Jeeps in the parking lot, said what if you fit your Hi-lift into a sagging top when the the dude says it won't work 'cause Hitler was clearly trying check the ragtop on his deep six Jeep. You dig?
