You can't afford them until your in your 40's....LOL ! Jeeps are for active people, so take off the top and doors.......throw on your Kayak, Bikes, etc, and enjoy the freedom!
41 years old and second jeep with many other types of cars in between from trucks to suv's to sedans. Must say this is the most fun auto I have had in the last 10 years! And it is fun to be older and buy one and be able to make changes to it without dreading the credit card statement next month.
I turned 41 last week. Had several sports cars, SUVs, sedans, and now my third Jeep (first Wrangler).
I originally bought the Jeep as a fun toy. After a year of ownership, I sold my performance sedan that I had because I never drove it. The Jeep is now my daily driver and I couldn't be happier.
I'm 47 and seriously considering a 2014/2015 JKUS, having driven a 1996 4Runner for the last 18 years. Hoping a Jeep Wrangler will provide an equal or better life span and as much or more enjoyment.
At this stage of my life, I'm able to buy the vehicle I want and MOD it as I wish. Many vehicle options, but only one is capable of being a convertible nowadays.
My wife and I just purchased a 2014 JKU as a mate to my 1998 Cherokee. I am 78 years old and she is 75. You are never too old to be a kid. Plenty of guys in Nevada over 70 years old are driving new Wranglers. It is a great toy/truck!:iamhappy:
Will be going from a BMW Sedan to the Wrangler...good to hear! I had a 1990 Wrangler and a 1998 Wrangler in the past. And I cried when I had to sell the 1998...
Thanks for the responses everyone! Will be going from a BMW Sedan to the Wrangler...good to hear! I had a 1990 Wrangler and a 1998 Wrangler in the past. And I cried when I had to sell the 1998...
I'd like to present a different viewpoint. I think you're entirely too old to buy a Wrangler, dandals. Honestly, I don't know what you were thinking. A Wrangler? In your 40s? Seriously? I don't want to sound rude, but man, just because you can doesn't mean you should. Think of the things that could happen. No, I just have to advise you to look elsewhere for a vehicle. A Jeep is clearly not for you if you are in your 40s.
