What is the exact type of tool/tools I need to remove my hard top and where can I get them???

You need a Torx for the six bolts in the back......not sure if I remember correctly but its a 45 Torx I think plz dont quote me on that. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. And you can pick one up at a Lowes, Home Depot

I actually just bought them, you need a 40 and a 50 Torx. You can get them anywhere, any auto store, Sears, even Target had them.

One of them is for the top 2 bolts and the other is for the 6 bolts in the back.

Get a set, you'll need them for other things too... After you get them out, lots of folks replace the torx with wing nuts and bolts to facilitate removal/replacement in the future.

I use a my craftsman 3/8 ratchet http://www.sears.com:80/shc/s/p_1015...&blockType=G19
which looks like this


with a torxt40 attachment to my ratchet

which looks like one of these




Those are not the exact model I just found them useing a quick google search but would work perfectly.

There is 2 bolts in the middle of the JK on the top side's where the front piece and the rear piece meet.

C~ you can use the Torx to remove the mirrors to. We got the relocation brackets. HBs Finest will be out in full force this weekend.

I remember the old OP Pro back in the 80's. One year they pretty much burned everything down at the pier. I was hoping we could all get together and hit the trails. Crowds make me nervous LOL.
