Top advice

Alright, got a good deal on cl for a factory soft top. Took it home, laid it out and it looks like it'll need almost $200 in parts to be fully functional. Door surround bolts missing, roll bar attachments absent, and on further inspection, some of the stitching is sketchy. I only paid $150 so I am not super let down.
Do I invest, or just order the trektop. Love the fast back look, but unsure of nx or standard. Also unsure if replacing the whole top is worth it for the price of repair.
On a brighter note, if I read the trektop posts correctly, I got a deal on the factory window channel.

Browse here and CL. Check sites like quadratec or Morris 4x4
Should be able to track down what you need.

I did find it all, just worried the stitching will fail me and the investment could have been better spent on a new trek

Superglue the stitching. Nothing like a OEM top if in decent shape. Save $300-$400 bucks

If u can make it work the OEM top is the easiest and fastest one to fold and unfold IMO. And a spyder shade fits under it. I don't think it will fit under a trek top.

Is there that much of a difference in the operation? And the oem is superior?

I may have the correct Door Surrounds and header. I got it from a 2007. I believe the door surrounds were the same from 2007 to 2009 and switched in 2010 for the newer cable system tops. (Bikini top included). I have the Trecktop NX now, no longer need these items.

It has the channel in it were the top clips in the surround. If it would work, we might work something out. It has the door surround screws also.
