Top won't latch

So I lowered the soft top down the first time ever on my '13 today. I went to put it back up and the latches that lock at the windshield are a good 1/2-1" away from grabbing and locking. I'm not sure where the bind is, as I'm not sure how everything is supposed to look. Is this common enough that someone could tell me what to look for? It looks like the top is sitting higher up above the soundbar than normal, but I don't see anything that looks out of place.

Help needed!

Don't hook the rear panels on the corner lips until after you've latched the header bar. I have better luck doing it that way.

That thing is such a bitch to do up the first few times. The order I use is:

- Sunrider latches (the hooks above where the B pillar would be if there was a B pillar)
- Pull the top forward and hook the latches onto the header, but don't do them up
- Back corners
- Close front latches
