Topless weather?

Next week it's supposed to be in the mid-fifties. That got me thinking, "Top off? Doors too, maybe?" I started getting excited.

Then reality kicked me in the cojones and yelled, "Hey stupid! You live in Wisconsin!" It started snowing about 3 p.m., even though it's not very cold out. A wet, sticky snow, supposed to total several inches overnight.

So now I'm looking forward to a Saturday morning play date w/my Jeep.

Most importantly, I finally decided on a place to rock my WF sticker. Gave it the high ground, for defensive purposes.

It's supposed to be in the low 70's on Sunday when I go wheeling with a friend. Of course that's at normal elevation. The trails we're hitting go up as high as 4000 feet he said. Either way, I'm pretty sure my freedom panels are coming off even if they have to go back on later in the day for a bit. That's what the "in Jeep storage bag" is for right?

What do you mean "nowhere to put them?" Never heard of a homeless dude with a modded Jeep.

This is what you need. Okay, maybe not neeeeed, but...

Bestop Part 51666-01 - Full Steel Door Storage Jacket by Bestop for Jeep

Zip the doors up in these bad boys and lean em against a wall somewhere, indoors or out (unless y'all are in an apt...I wouldn't do it outside there).

I lived with parts from my husbands 68 GTO on our pool table for a year Every he had something powder coated he would bring it home and set it there until he needed it. I think a couple Jeep doors wouldn't phase me after that.

Thanks.

Just looked outside. It's still coming down sideways. Might as well hope for something Biblical, a good ole shut-down-the-city storm.

My Jeep would be pleased.

All this topless talk.... and we're due for major snow 9 to 13 inches tonight and 4 to 6 more inches tomorrow. Wet, heavy, no fun plowing, SNOW. not thinking topless weather is going to be here any time soon.

I always like the look of that jeep every time I see one of your posts. the fenders and tires really look great, but that bumper just seems so wide. Topless weather is right around the corner.

I bought my jeep in late October so I haven't had many nice days. I've been waiting for a really nice day to take off the top and doors.

Confession: I've never taken the doors off of my jeep.

Man, I wish that was us! They're saying we should get 6" + overnight, and more tomorrow, though, which will be the most we've had all year.

Thanks Yantzie. Realistically, topless weather up here won't be for about another month or so, and even then it'll be day-to-day.

After you take em off, put some anti-seize or white lithium grease on the hinge pins, so they'll be easy to get off in the future.

Damn man...not quite nice enough for us, yet.

Although, a couple days after I installed my ORH top I snapped, and took the rear bikini and windows off on a 30º day. Drove around town for awhile, getting weird looks from peeps @ stoplights. Wheeee!
