I have pull 3000. Glad to have a standard. In hilly terrain I have been in 4th on some steep inclines on the highway with speed limit at 65 and difficult to make 60 in 4th. I would have bought a Liberty though if that was my only use. I'm happy with it even pulling my camping utility covered trailer (set up like a construction use trailer). Gas MPG down to as low as 9.5MPG in really hilly terrain and about 10-12MPG on combined hills and flat land. Mine is a 4 door Rubicon. I think it does better on hills pulling the trailer than my 4 door Sahara, also a standard possibly because of the lower gearing on the Rubicon?
