You mean like these? (http://www.mattracks.com/)

Quite a bit of space between plasti-dip and these . . .

I've seen some in YouTube and the like, but never in person. Clearly the perfect choice for a daily driver.

Oh is se well I never see snow, and I like to leave every modification always on my car so I can turn off of the road when ever I please. I think I would do it for something that's more of a toy rather then dd

now if someone developed a full length track (from front axle to rear axle) then THAT would truly be bad ass!

I really like them...but they're heavy 1,600 lbs. for the set. I just received my Supercharger and am trying to convince a local shop to install it for me.
Its fine now for normal crawling, but when the snow is really wet I need more torque to keep up the speed for steep hills.
And they are all season, I drive them on the asphalt from the chalet to the good stomping grounds...used to use them in the summer, but the rocks around here are super hard and like razors, so I stopped after getting a couple good gouges...these babies are very expensive so don't want to be chopping em up.

Reminds me of a Bombardier, or snow cat. Not as fast though but heated cab. wipers and dual winches. It seated three ran with an industrial ford 4 cyl engine. Used a lot for grooming trails at ski slopes. We used them for utility work in right of ways through the woods. I just gave one away about a year ago. No time or place to store it. Could use aluminum tracks or rubber ones. Saw a track break once and the sucker turned sideways and rolled pronto! Lots of fun though.

I've followed the development of the Ripsaw...its definitely cool and bad ass. haven't seen any video of it hill climbing...I'm sure it has the power and traction but it seems to have some rocking issues...I suspect that's due to the extreme suspension characteristics...I believe they've been try to get the military interested.
I'd love to have on though.

Is anyone else playing with webbed feet?

I'm brand new to this forum and I thought I would breathe a little life back into this thread to see if anyone has built or bought tracks for their Jeep. I have a set that I built and am currently reworking slightly to change a few things that I didn't quite like the first time around.

If you are playing on tracks I would love to hear what you have. What works, what doesn't and what's the worst jackpot you've got yourself into... so far.
