trailer wiring harness

I have a 12 rubicon MW3 with the max towing package. It has the flat 4 point hook up and i need a round rv type plug hook up with at least a 5 wire hook up since i have surge brakes on my boat trailer and the brakes need to be released while backing. I think the trailer also has back up lights but i think the 5th wire would work the backup lights and the surge brake release. What do i need to do to change out the 4 flat for a round rv plug with at least 5 wires?

They have quite a bit of trailer and wiring info.

There are adapters that plug onto the end of your 4flat. I believe hopkins makes them??

Thanks for the info, i looked at the adapters and all seem to have to connect wires somewhere and give very little instruction. When i bought the Jeep i thought i could just buy a plug in adaptor like i had on my truck which had an rv plug on it. That was real handy for pulling my 4 flat bike trailer. Doesnt seem like the 4 to 7 adapters works like the 7 to 4 adapter does which is what i used on my truck for the bike trailer. I just used the rv connect on my truck for pulling my boat.

The three extra wires are for constant power, intermitten power and a physical ground. Easy stuff. Your 4 flat is merely left, right blinkers brakes/tail and ground

Thanks for the info, i also need a wire for backup lights/ surge brake disconnect when backing.
