Sounds like the jeep is in limp mode.

Who's flashcal did you use? ESP is right, it is in Limp Mode. A WA580 thing. It reared it's head with the first wave in 2012. It required a programmer change. AEV took a while getting theirs out at first.

X3 on limp. AEV has a method for a total reset of the engine computer- will fix Limp mode. There was a write/how to up by the engineer from AEV- but I've never been able to find it again. I imagine Flashcal has seen it too- hopefully they have a fix.

For a quick fix your dealer should be able to put in the new gear ration, but that will most likely cost about as much as a ProCal. Good luck with it, and would love to see some pictures.

I have 2012 2 doors Rubicon Auto tranny, yesterday I noticed when shifting from P to D or R the gear hits rough as if the engine is on high revs.

I tried to drive the car but it was stuck on first gear and did not shift to second, the tiptronic manual shifting does not respond what's so ever.

I put the car on recovery and sent it to the dealer hoping it can be resolved with minimal $$$ damage.

Will be sharing my experience and hope to hear from you too.

Regards,
