Anybody actually pay for this when the free year is up?

I *might* but I haven't looked up the cost yet. Really the only thing I see as useful is the traffic, if you do a route in the NAV it will auto-route around traffic, I've had that happen a few times when there was a jam I didn't know about

Not sure because I don't use it much but I think traffic is a separate pay service that works with the nav. Travel Link is for weather, gas prices, movies and sports.

I had a 2011 Patriot with the 430N system and the confounded Travel Link never worked.

I had to call Sirius (seriously) five times to get my free year started.

Watch that "free year". They have a rep for being less than easy when it comes to canceling it.

Na. You don't have to cancel. Just don't renew and they will shut you off. The end!

I like it. But my smart phone offers better and it's a part of my data plan. It's gone when it expires.
