Treacherous Roads no match for Hellboy!!

A buddy and I were supposed to go paintballin today and even though it looked treacherous I knew Hellboy and some common sense driving could get us there with no problem. Unfortunately the Paintball employees couldn't make it there but it was still a fun ride. Resident Virginians that really don't know how to drive in snow should stay home. Being from Chicago, this weather is child;s play. But I had to stop and tend to two vehicle spin outs and call the state troopers. I would have loved to pull them out but there were possible injuries so I decided to play it safe and let rescue handle that. Enjoy the pics!!

This was a treacherous road.My rule of thumb is if you come up to a ditched vehicle on the highway, leave the car and get them home or to someplace safe.If in a rural setting,I'll try to extract vehicle and usually follow them to their destination.Don't want to cause another mishap.

re: "Unfortunately the Paintball employees couldn't make it there "

that's the SOP here in Orygun.....however the flatlanders are at a disadvantage as regardless of individual skills somewhere along the route somebody didn't....and the horrors are multiplied. They really do let the office workers leave at the first snow flake some parts of the year. Then again the normal rush 2 1/2 hour traffic is dreadful enough on dry pavement.

MAy I remind you this is Virginia, not insert any other city that gets snow on a routine basis!! LOL It is only treacherous because Virginia has no salt trucks and the native residents still think they can drive full speed in rear wheel drive vehicles!! 7 inches is a blizzard here!! Even the emergency personnel have a hard time driving in snow here. They only use sand which does nothing in my opinion!

No it was outdoor. I used to hunt so I still have all of my hunting gear that keeps me toasty warm. We played today and it had to be between 5 and 7 inches of snow on certain fields. If you are ever in VA play at Splatbrothers! It is one of the biggest paintball facilities in the country!!

SplatBrothers® PaintBall Park - The Best Paintball on the east coast, located near Richmond, Virginia
