I plan on purchasing a Trektop NX in the next day or so. Is there anything I need to know about the top? I know it won't fully go down, which isn't really a problem. Are there any tricks or tips on installing and anything I need to know about the upkeep? Also, where would be the best place to purchase?
Thanks for the input.
Give it a few weeks on without taking it off. I have the Trektop nx twill and was tiiiiiiight!!!
Also, removal is easy and so is just putting on the top safari part but the windows can be a bear if not done in the right order. I only just got the technique down a few days ago.
Install rear window, don't pop in tailgate bar
Pop up sunrider, not all the way
Slip in and zip top part of side window by the door maybe an inch then pop in most the things that pop into the rail thing on the tub
Fit and zip about in inch of rear zipper of side and rear window just a bit
Repeat other side window
Now you should be able to zip em all completely closed
Pop all retainer bar clip things and should be good
Thank yall for the info. My top is coming in today. One other question, is there a way to store the pieces inside the Jeep? Pop-up storms in south Louisiana are way too common in the summer to not have them.
Combine the storage of the windows from the previous video with rolling up the bikini up under the sunrider like the video below, and you are quite nearly topless in a flash (wow, bad pun). This is from another forum member Espo78.
