TrekTop NX help needed, please!

I put on my trek top the other day. Love the top. It looks awesome, not noisy at all, but I have one issue. On both sides, but mainly the drivers side, along the rear door, the top has a hard "L" shape clip (not really a clip, but ...) . This "clip is supposed to fit around and behind the door when it closes.
Now, I put this on in 90+ degree weather, let it sit in the sun for over an hour when I put it on. But for the life of me I cannot get this to seat properly. I have pulled, tugged, unzipped and re-zipped this thing only to have it unseat, every time I open the door. When driving at highway speeds it comes out and flaps a bit, but never comes off...anyone else have this issue and if so, did ya' fix it? here is a pic of what I mean...

Yep, I had the same problem with mine, but just on the driver's side....mine isn't coming unseating, though....just doesn't go all the way into the channel. I called the place I bought it from, they contacted Bestop & Bestop sent me a new window. Just got it yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to install it yet....gonna do it today. But Bestop said it sounded like my window was too short, so we'll see if the new one fixes it. Gotta say, though, that the customer service at Bestop is awesome as well as the place I purchased it from (JeepTopDepot). I also had some pinholes in my roof & they sent me a replacement.

You literally need to massage the top to stretch it. Get one side in and start from that side, rubbing the top along the side to the other side. Skip the back window.

Make sure you're only zipping it a few inches on before seating that portion. Then pull down and seat the lower tab in the tub rail. THEN zip it in.

Good luck, I went through 2 nx tops, they are horribly built. Thank god for quadratech and their AWSOME return policies. My first besttop was delivered with the support rod sticking through the box (FedEx failure) bent at a 45 degree... I was able to install it, but the stitching on the top started pulling and ther were like 5 to 6 holes where water ran down the rear. The door jam assemblies were so flimsy. I returned for a new one on quadratech's dime, and I was sent a used top from the besttop factory, it was dirty and had an oil stain dead center as well as the hardware was obviously used. I tried to install that one, and I ran into the same stitching problem and a warped header panel, I now had leaks in the back and the front. The tops look cool, but they are not quality and I don't understand how they could build a top, with stitching that is sub sub par as well as the plastic surrounds and header being flimsy! Good luck with yours.

Posting a picture of how the rear window channel looks when you wrap it around, in case anyone else runs into the same problem and finds this post with a search.

The door locks the window in place.

BTW: Had it since last June and no leaks, great quality and highly recommended.
