Trektop NX twill difference?

I plan on buying a trektop once the weather gets a little better, but i'm torn between the original version and the twill. Is it worth double the price?

You should check out the Soft Top HELP!!! sticky at the top of the main page. One of the posts is a review written buy a guy who owns three different soft tops.

Doesn't compare the black diamond to the twill in it.

Frameless top?

Read that post and the next one after it. I found it by searching 'black diamond twill' and doing a little bit of reading.

There is more to it than just the color. It is the actual material that is different, premium twill vs. standard black diamond. I am sitting in the same predicament, I have pretty much settled on the trektop nx as I currently have a hardtop only. I'd like to say that money doesn't matter but it does. I know that if I were buying a new jeep I would pay the extra $400 for the premium twill soft top. Its a harder pill to swallow on a used Jeep. Is there anybody out there with the twill trektop nx to chime in...please????

My friend has the trektop in black diamond and I just got the supertop in twill. There are differences definitely. The noise is the biggest difference. Hers you can hear everything compared to my twill. Twill is much quieter and seems to seal better. It's softer to the touch and comes with a better warranty. If you can flip the extra cost do it. It's the closest thing to the hardtop, in regards to road noise.
