Tried out my new Dura's at Ocotillo, pics inside.

Took a trip out on saturday to Ocotillo Wells to try out the new tires and play at the truck haven area they built last year. Was a great trip and the tires made a HUGE difference.

Figured out that actual rock sliders wold be a pretty good investment so I dont destroy my jeep since Im scared to hurt it in the rock fields. and A little more suspension travel would be nice to.

Well this was about 3 years ago and blm said it would never again be open to the public. That's the first place I'm going when I get back to sd.

Was open during the entire Tierra Del Sol (except when the fireworks show went off).

I think everyone takes a pic at the bottom of that huge obstacle. Never thought of taking one on the other side to give the illusion of actually conquering it. Brilliant!

I would suspect that it has a lot of pucker factor, when you're grabbing on to the steering wheel and all you can see is the hood and the sky.
