Truck-Lite New Gen LED headlamp bezel?

Good evening everyone. I am looking to upgrade to Truck-Lite's new LED lamps, but had a few questions...

My JK had the double-bar headlamp guards installed already when I bought it, so the factory headlamp bezels were history. I need to know if:

a) Do the new 7 in truck-LEDs require the OEM basic headlight bezels, or do they come with their own (for $400 + I sure hope so)

b) are the truck-lite LEDs compatible with any common headlamp guards (Smittybuilt, etc)?

Thank you for any help

Those will not work you will need a set of oem rings

^ x2 I have the Truck-Lites and you have to have the factory bezels to install them. There's no harm in test fitting though. It just might work. I know some of the members have used black electrical tape around the bezel to tighten up the fitment, so that might work for you as well. Experiment a little and keep us posted!

Don't pay $400 plus. $315 or less delivered is current price.

I doubt that price includes the anti-flicker harnesses, though. You will need those unless you don't mind flickering headlights. It drove me crazy, personally and I didn't like the idea that the flickering could damage the lights over time.

Mine have never flickered. I've had them for over a year now.

What's this "anti-flicker" harness?

Does the anti flicker harness allow the light to draw the power straight from the battery or does if have some capacitors for current flow management?

The official name for them is "Pulse Width Modulation" harnesses. Basically it regulates the voltage going out to the light so there is a constant voltage rather than the varying voltage from the Jeep's computer. It does not draw directly from the battery, but using them eliminates the need for the H13/H4 adapters.

I am looking at getting the truck lites. Has anyone tried using headlamp guard with the truck lites? The mounting looks about the same.

I thought about LED headlights, but living in the northeast, snow and ice build up is a concern. Do these put out enough heat to stay clear?

I live in the northeast and have driven with them in ice and snow and I haven't had an issue.

I'm in NY and this was a major concern of mine as well. So far this year, they did get covered up once when there was really wet sticky snow coming down, but the light fluffy stuff doesn't seem to cause an issue. I put a protective film on mine to prevent breakage and I use Rain-X on top of that, so I cant say if it's that combination that's keeping the lenses clean.

So I just got my Truck-Lite lamps and trying to install them. The previous owner had put on some RR headlight guards which I was going to ditch. Therefore, the OEM bezel is gone.

I just called my local dealer and they said you can't buy the bezel without buying the whole headlight.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can get just the bezel so I can install these Truck-Lites!!! Any aftermarket options?

Thanks!

Dorman makes them aftermarket. You can order them at any auto parts store. It's either part number 42406 or 42408. I don't remember which one is for the large round, two headlight system. You can look it up yourself at dormanproducts.com

Would any JK year fit the 2012? Or only 2011+?

Thank you! And going black is already in the plans. A bit of plastidip should do it.

I hope I can sniff out my old bezels so I don't have to order more
