I know, I know, beating a dead horse, I just have to vent. I just spent $400 of my hard earned money, and I'm pretty disappointed. Yes they put out more light, that's great, but the pattern sucks. Sucks big time. The Y Y pattern is unbearable to look at. I did do the horizontal adjustment screw upgrade, but instead of having a single bright X pattern in the center, I now have two nice Y's.... I don't understand how trucklite could manufacture a headlight, look at the pattern, think it's acceptable, and then charge $400 for them. I would expect that from a cheap knock off, not these. It's my own fault I guess. I read all the reviews, looked at all the pictures and videos. I was well aware of the pattern issues, but I figured it might not be that bad, especially for as popular as they seem to be. I was wrong. Sigh.......Anyone else feel the same?
I sold mine the next day. Around town the type of light is not better than stock IMO. High beams in a completely dark area they are great though. I couldn't deal with the Y's.
I may end up doing the same, and just take the hit.......so frustrating. This kind of thing has happened way too many times to me. Buy something, get disappointed, sell it at a loss.......
I love my trucklites I aimed a little higher and don't have any complaints but I do a lot of rural driving. So it's a night and day difference over oem
Return them and see if you can buy something else from the store instead. You don't mention where you picked them up, but the QT lights are pretty good and close to that price.

I got them from Northridge, but I think it's too late to return them. Besides, I already scratched them....... I have heard that the quadratec lights don't have the Y pattern.
I find quality lighting very useful... And although I didn't buy the Trucklite's, I had seen them in person multiple times and couldn't stand the light pattern. At the time that I did my lighting work, the Quadratec's weren't out yet and neither were the KC/Peterson's and the JW Speakers were super expensive (still are). So I went for an H4 upgrade with Hella housings and Philips XTreme Power +80 lamps. I've had this set up for about 2 years now and they work pretty well. A little less output that the LED's but much better than stock.
I'm with you. I upgraded to an H4 setup and I will soon be adding Rigid D2 lights for when I am in a situation where I really need bright lights.
